This November, our parish is collecting food and personal care items for two organizations: St. Vincent de Paul and Tamale Team. 


Tamale Team is a neighbor-to-neighbor, community-led project in SE Portland aiming to help families affected by immigration enforcement support themselves by making and selling tamales. We are gathering donations both for tamale supplies and for direct support to these families. With your help, Tamale Team would love to provide more assistance to families affected by these harsh times. 


The items most needed by St. Vincent de Paul and Tamale Team are:


  • Canned whole jalapenos

  • Coffee

  • Sugar

  • Masa

  • Foil

  • Plastic wrap

  • Jam

  • Canned fruit

  • Paper towels

  • Toilet paper

  • Soap

  • Toothbrushes

  • Toothpaste

  • Shampoo

  • Conditioner

  • Lotion

  • Deodorant

  • Laundry soap
