FirePit-PDX — Young Adults
FirePit-PDX ministry is a young adult ministry under the care of St. Ignatius parish meant to serve young adults in their 20s and 30s. We aim to connect Young Adults to one another and cultivate a friendship with Christ. FirePit-PDX strives to awaken, focus, and inspire single and married people to the beauty and vitality of God's active presence in their lives.

For Young Adults in their 20s & 30s
The U.S. Bishops have identified four principal hungers among young adults: hunger for healthy personal identity, hunger for intimacy in relationships, hunger for life-giving spirituality, and hunger for meaningful work. Yet, they experience the highest rates of alienation from family and community and distrust most conventional structures and authorities. FirePit-PDX hopes to respond to these challenges and the hunger of young adults in our community.
FirePit-PDX is open to ALL! We strive to build humble and diverse communities of young people to be living examples of God's Love, Mercy, and Justice in our community and world.

FirePit-PDX strives to nurture and encourage intimate encounters with Jesus Christ through meaningful programs and events, and invite others for the first time, again, or more deeply into Christ's mission of Love, Mercy, and Justice.
