We look forward to celebrating your child’s Baptism and officially welcoming them into the life of St. Ignatius parish! At St. Ignatius, baptisms for infants and children (newborn - 7 years) are celebrated during designated weekend masses throughout the year so that we can introduce the child and their family to the greater parish community that is pledging to support their lifelong journey of faith.
Parents prepare by participating in one of the Infant Baptism Preparation Sessions listed to the left. We seek to provide a hospitable, small group setting for our sessions, so the class size is limited and can fill up quickly.
Please return your Baptism Registration Form as early as possible to sign up for the Preparation Session and Baptism dates that work best for your family. The Preparation Sessions begin in the dining room of the Parish Center (the brick building immediately north of the church) at 11:45AM and then move to the church at 12:45PM for a Baptism practice. Godparents are highly encouraged to attend, but not required. If you have additional questions, please contact Patty Frangipani, Office Manager.
