Catholic Funeral & Cemetery Seminar: Faith, Dignity & Hope
St. Ignatius Catholic Church invites you to an educational presentation on Catholic funeral traditions and the Church’s teachings on burial and cremation.
Join us for a thoughtful conversation about the Catholic understanding of the dignity of the human body, the sacred funeral rites of the Church, and the importance of a permanent, sacred resting place for our loved ones. We will explore Catholic teaching on cremation, the proper care of remains, and the role of Catholic cemeteries in expressing our faith in the Resurrection and the communion of the faithful.
This seminar, offered by Mt. Calvary & Gethsemani Catholic Funeral Services, will provide an opportunity to deepen our understanding of these important traditions and reflect on how our final acts of care can express our faith, honor the departed, and proclaim our hope in Christ’s Resurrection.
