If you are age 73 or older, the IRS requires you to take required minimum distributions each year from your tax-deferred retirement accounts. A qualified charitable donation (QCD) is a direct transfer of funds from your IRA, payable directly to a qualified charity such as St. Ignatius Parish.

As 2025 draws to a close, please consider making a year-end donation to help us maintain and care for our beautiful church. A charitable IRA rollover is an easy way to make a gift to St. Ignatius Parish to help us grow our endowment.

You can directly transfer any amount up to $100,000 from your IRA and pay no income tax on the distribution, while making a charitable donation to our parish.

  • You must be 70 1⁄2 or older.

  • The transfer must go directly from your IRA to St. Ignatius.

Please check with your tax or financial advisor to see if this type of gift is right for you. If you need help with this transfer or have any questions, please call the parish office.

Thank you for your generosity.
