IGNITE mini-series coming up on November 30, December 7, and December 14. Led by Mike Buck and your own faith experiences!

How are we beatitude: navigating the “way” of Christ for our time, our life?  How do we use our cognition for personal integrity and the service of communal well-being or wholeness? What is this “knowing” we call “conscience”?

We are born with unique personal dignity, but also an inherited, genetic being of relationship. Through baptism, we entered the Church to be “lights” for the world.  With our growing awareness and also cross-pressured tensions in our society, how do we respond to both the challenges and joys of our time?  What invaluable resources are available to guide us in ethical decision-making?  These times implore us to solidify our relationships with Christ, Church, and community so we can fully capture our truer selves and our essence of belonging.

In these three Ignite sessions, we will follow a multidisciplinary approach, engaging seriously with how moral theologians integrate our spiritual experience with Jesus, our Catholic tradition, and social justice documents, our sources of knowledge beyond Christianity, learnings from our natural world, and our quest to faithfully create a more just social and political life. These sessions are not just informative, teaching exercises, but are meant to be seen as imaginative and transformative dialogue together.  They will take energy like a dance.  Please come together with this verve!
