The first weekend of advent, we host parishioners for a holiday celebration in our school gym. Volunteers prepare food and run different activities like wreath making and cookie decorating. St. Nicholas often makes an appearance too. This family friendly event is an opportunity to begin the advent season with festivity among family and friends.

For over 80 years, St. Ignatius parish has hosted an annual Italian Dinner. This is the primary fundraising project of the parish and it is a great community builder for young and old parishioners, school families, and our neighbors. It is a volunteer-intense, FUN event. Consider joining one of the teams: rolling meatballs, waiting tables, making salad, cutting bread, helping with takeout, tending bar, or any of the other opportunities to serve at this traditional Italian Dinner.

If interested in participating or learning more, contact Lisa and Dominic Chambers, Italian Dinner coordinators.

In September, we host a ministry fair during morning services to showcase our thriving ministries, and allow opportunity for parishioners, new and old, to get involved.

Watch the bulletin for event dates in 2021/22 as they may change due to the pandemic

Our St. Ignatius Parent Association is the main community building and fundraising support group of the St. Ignatius parish school. All parents of St. Ignatius students are members of the St. Ignatius Parent Association. This group sponsors activities including Back-to-School events, Jog-a-Thon, Turkey Bingo, Auction, Catholic Schools Week events, new parent information sessions, teacher appreciation, and community outreach.

While the group is comprised of school parents, all parishioners are encouraged to support and participate in these various and fun organized events. If interested in learning more, contact Julie Frangipani, school secretary.
